From the Ohio Secretary of State’s list of local questions and issues, as of September 18, 2026

Of these, 3 ask for new money (a new tax, an increase or a bond), 10 renew a tax already collected and 1 replaces one. How earlier votes went: since March 17, 2020, 188 tax issues reaching Licking County have been decided — 125 passed and 63 failed. Renewals passed 64 of 68; of the issues asking for new money, 34 of 83 passed; of the other 37 (decreases, replacements and issues the state’s list marks neither new nor a renewal), 27 passed.

$100 a year for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s value
The county auditor’s estimate, as the ballot states it: 2.87 mills a year on average over the life of the bond. Source: the Licking County Board of Elections’ sample ballot.
For a home the county values at $300,000: $300 a year $400,000: $400 a year $500,000: $500 a year
Borrows $80.7 million over 35 years, repaid by a property tax levy. Its rate is set each year to meet that year’s payments, so it moves around the estimate, and like any levy approved now it carries none of the state’s rollback credits. Your home’s county value is on your tax bill.

Where this comes from
The Ohio Secretary of State’s list of local questions and issues for the November 3, 2026 general election, as the state published it on September 18, 2026; the results replace it once they are certified. Tax issues only: liquor options, zoning and charter questions are left out. The state files each issue under the county its body is based in; this page lists it under every county it reaches. Earlier issues go back to 2020, from the state’s results for each election.
A new property tax levy costs $35 a year for every mill on each $100,000 of a home’s value, the figure Ohio ballots print: since 2013 a new levy gets none of the state’s rollback credits. A renewal continues a levy already on the bill: if it passes, the levy keeps going as it is today, and if it fails, it ends when its current term runs out. A school district’s budget forecast is its own, filed with the state; this site’s School budgets pages show every line, and the levy calculator works one out for your own home.
Nothing here is for or against any issue. The exact ballot wording is your county board of elections’.
