Current expenses
$17.50 a year for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s value
$100,000 × 35% = $35,000 taxed × 0.5 mills ($0.50 for each $1,000) = $17.50
For a home the county values at $150,000: $26.25 a year $200,000: $35 a year $250,000: $43.75 a year
These are first-year figures. A levy approved now is charged at its full voted rate, with none of the state’s rollback credits; when the county next revalues homes, the state lowers its rate so that it collects the same dollars. Your home’s county value is on your tax bill.

Operate 911 system
Continues a levy already on the bill. If it passes, the levy keeps going as it is today; if it fails, it ends when its current term runs out. When homes are revalued, the state cuts its rate so it collects the same total — so a home whose value rose more than most pays a little more of it.

Where this comes from
The Ohio Secretary of State’s list of local questions and issues for the November 3, 2026 general election, as the state published it on September 18, 2026; the results replace it once they are certified. Tax issues only: liquor options, zoning and charter questions are left out. The state files each issue under the county its body is based in; this page lists it under every county it reaches. Earlier issues go back to 2020, from the state’s results for each election.
A new property tax levy costs $35 a year for every mill on each $100,000 of a home’s value, the figure Ohio ballots print: since 2013 a new levy gets none of the state’s rollback credits. A renewal continues a levy already on the bill: if it passes, the levy keeps going as it is today, and if it fails, it ends when its current term runs out. A school district’s budget forecast is its own, filed with the state; this site’s School budgets pages show every line, and the levy calculator works one out for your own home.
Nothing here is for or against any issue. The exact ballot wording is your county board of elections’.
